Get Involved

The Gold Coast offers something for everyone if you want to get involved in AFL football.

From the youngest of beginners to those who just want to have a bit of fun.

And it’s not just for boys and men – there’s also a competition especially for women.

NAB AFL Auskick

NAB AFL AuskickAFL Auskick, the skill-based introductory program sponsored by NAB, is for boys and girls aged 5 to 12. It’s a fun way to sample the national game and is conducted on the Gold Coast at all junior clubs (see below) and at most schools.

Generally, children begin their football experience at the younger ages before moving onto junior football at U8 or U9 level. But the introductory program is also open to ‘older’ beginners aged 10-11-12.
